Brown-Forman downs Chambord

Louisville, Ky.-based drinks maker Brown-Forman Corp. Thursday, March 16, said it had agreed to buy black raspberry liqueur brand Chambord and related assets for $255 million from Charles Jacquin et Cie Inc. as it seeks to tap into the fast-growing market for cocktail spirits.

Brown-Forman tapped Lazard for financial advice. Michel Dyens & Co. advised Charles Jacquin.
